Magistra Beatriz is currently the Landed Baroness of the Barony of Highland Foorde and has interests in all things Spanish: clothing, cooking, death and funerary practices, medieval magick and demonology, women's studies, Spanish law, and church history.

Beatriz is a moderately wealthy widow living in Burgos under the reign of their Catholic Majesties Ferdinand and Isabella. She manages a modest wool business left by her late husband, and has aspirations to make the great pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.
