The Award of the Umbonis Ferrei Ordo (UFO) is a Caer Mear award given by the Baronage of Caer Mear, either jointly or separately, for excellence in the martial arts of the Society. The Umbonis Ferrei Ordo, which means "Order of the Iron Boss" in Latin, is traditionally called the "UFO" for short. This award was originally called "The Unnamed Fighting Order" for many years, and was renamed by Baron Aedan Alywyn on the suggestion of Master Thomas Broadpaunch.
