Athos started in the SCA @ the age of 32 in May of 2012, AS XLVI (46), he had been a long time dedicated player in foam combat games/sports prior to this since he was about 15. Initially started playing in An Tir, his local land was within the Barony of Madrone. He started attending their Wednesday night local fighter practice. A very welcoming group of guys, Sir Payne, Sir Athelred, Sir Heilyn, Sir Tim, Sir Stefan being some of the first and regulars to help him get armored up and fighting. Since that time Athos continued to enjoy himself on the fighting fields, both armored and rapier, and also accomplished himself more in the other aspects of the society. He has become a fair handed leather and wood worker, though by no means an expert. In January of 2024 Athos made a move across the Country with family to North Carolina and landed in the Kingdom of Atlantia and continues his enjoyment of the Society in his new home.
