Ermine, a griffin's head erased gules, armed sable, gorged of a ducal coronet, grasping in the beak an arrow bendwise Or.

In my time as a Kingdom Officer, I was honored to serve alongside Duchess Simone. While I will admit to finding her intelligence and grace somehwat intimidating at times, her joy in instigating mishief is what I remember most.

Simone de Shenanigans

Behold Marie-Simone, once crowned in grace,
Barjavel, whose name the bards do sing;
Though majesty still lingers on her face,
A mirthful heart beneath her crown doth spring.

With gaze that pierces like a knightly lance,
She strikes both awe and trembling in her foes.
Yet in the hall, amidst the feast’s expanse,
Her playful jest like summer’s zephyr flows.

In food-born fray, her laughter doth resound,
As bread and meat take flight by her decree.
Her subjects quake, yet joy in her is found,
For none more bold or kind than she could be.

Though queens may wield both power and command,
She wins all hearts with jest and gentle hand.
