Ælfric Ecgeling
Father Ælfric Ecgeling (Also AElfric Ecgeling) The tenth century English Abbot of Ecgeling Abbey in the far northern reaches of Northumbria, close to Durham. Before taking holy orders, he voyaged to many a strange land. The one that had most influence on him was the Empire of the Great Song, far away to the farthest reaches of the East.
In June of A.S. 54, he apprenticed to Maestra Lucia Bellini, former Baroness of Windmasters' Hill, in the noble arts of Calligraphy and Illumination.
In February of A.S. 56, he became Principle of the Windmasters' Hill Baronial Scribal Guild, succeeding Lady Caitrina Inghean Fearghuis.
