Protégé

A Protégé is a student of a Pelican, who will teach them the value and means of service and sacrifice to their local group, Kingdom, and Society.

While the color of belt is not denoted nor restricted by Society or Kingdom sumptuary law, many protégés wear yellow belts. However, not all Pelicans give their protégés yellow belts and the exact nature of the relationship (such as the swearing of fealty or not) is up to the individual Pelican and protégé as they form their relationship.
