Introduction - This wiki is under construction as of March 11, 2021
I joined the SCA in 2003 in the Kingdom of Atlantia. I wanted to become a great scribe and practiced for years. However, researching and sewing historically accurate clothing drew me away from the scribal arts (pun intended!). These days I spend most of my time sewing clothing and teaching a variety of costume-related subjects.
Heraldry
Vert, three sparrows and a chief engrailed argent. (August 2005)

Tidbits About Amie Sparrow
- My registered name is English but most of my research and reenactment is German.
- I wear German Peasant and German Landsknecht garb, occasionally Viking.
- I am currently focusing on making YouTube videos for garb classes to create a library of my knowledge.
A&S Philosophy
Have no fear. Try any art or science that you're interested in. Everyone starts as a beginner. Don't compare your efforts to the efforts of more experienced people. Compete against yourself, not others.
Service Philosophy
Everyone provides service in their own way. I believe that teaching is the biggest act of service that I can provide. I also sew garb for pro-bono for friends who provide a great deal of service to others.
