Lady Finnebreth Wodeward (AKA Finne Breth (Registered name), Fimbreth Rigsdatter)
Protégé to Master Valgard Av Mors
Finnebreth has been active in the SCA since 2018. She resides in the Barony of Stierbach and serves as Warden of the Forests of Atlantia and Keeper of The Forest of Stierbach. She also leads a monthly adventuring group, the Stierbach Saunterers. Finnebreth sometimes practices scribal arts with Sudentorre Scribes and also takes great interest in sewing and bushcrafting. Most of her time in the SCA for now, however, is spent managing the day-to-day activities of the Atlantian Royal Forestry Guild and helping it grow. Camping events and getting folks outside together are the highlights of her SCA experience-- but really, she just wonders why she took so long to find the SCA at all.

Persona

Finnebreth is a 14th century Woodward of minor noble birth and independent means, a widow, stewarding the large aforested holdings of a long absent cousin away in the war with France. As a Woodward she is responsible for management and oversight of afforested lands much like a modern-day game warden, with hunters, verdurers (arborers), foresters, and others assisting her. Because these individuals are so competent, Finnebreth feels capable of leaving things in their hands for a period of time and is preparing a pilgrimage to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, ostensibly to pray for the safety of her cousin's body and the sanctity of his soul, but like many pilgrims she's not really the pious type--she's just adventurous and wants to see another part of the world.

Not really a persona, but I have also done some level of Viking reenactment outside the SCA since 2006, so if I'm not in persona I'm probably in Viking age or other Iron Age Scandinavian attire.

Service

• Runs the day-to-day affairs of the Kingdom of Atlantia Royal Forestry Guild and is growing the Guild, adding officers, building their job descriptions, revising Guild regulations and etc; establishing new customs and protocols, and holding regular events.
• Holds a monthly hike and picnic, Stierbach Saunterers in various parks and forests around the Barony, guiding the populace to get out and enjoy nature in their garb and share their outdoor skills.
• Founded The Forest of Stierbach, facilitating folks with various outdoor survival, A and S, and martial skills to get together and teach each other what they know. The Forest is part of the Kingdom of Atlantia Royal Forestry Guild and, as such, monitors skills progression of its members with the purpose of putting their skills to the service of the Society as a whole.
• Creates award scrolls as part of Sudentorre Scribal Scriptorium when she is able
