Baroness Sophia the Orange (Originally, Sophia of Sternfeld of the Barony of Sternfeld, Midrealm)

History:

• First event: Simple Day, Barony of Sternfeld, Midrealm, July 1992
• Lived in the Barony of Sternfeld from 1992 - 2005; Moved to Atlantia November 2005

Performing Arts groups I manage:

• Musica Subterranea - a band of SCA musicians/dancers (we do both) who have produced 5 CDs of recorded SCA dance music (104 tunes) custom arranged for SCA dance reconstructions/choreographies; we also play for SCA dancers.
• i Scandali - my first Commedia dell' Arte troupe, in the Midrealm; currently under the stewardship of Lady Abigail the Innocent.
• Commedia All Stars at Pennsic - my second Commedia dell' Arte troupe, only performing at Pennsic, performing annually since 2014.
• i Firenzi - my third Commedia dell' Arte troupe, in the kingdom of Atlantia; currently performing semi-pro.

• I revamped the Atlantia Performing Arts Guild after my friend Master Corun MacAndra started it in 2002.Atlantia Performing Arts Guild
• I created the Atlantia Royal Players in 2016, with the blessing of Queen Thora, to encourage more performers to take time to do the administrative work of creating activities for performers throughout AtlantiaAtlantia Royal Players
• I created and ran the Performing Arts Department for the SCA 50 Year event in June 2016.
• I Co-Created with a friend and ran the Commedia Track at Pennsic from vague beginnings around 2003 through official Pennsic staff positions 2012-2018.
• I helped create the first ever Known World Commedia Symposium in 2018

Heraldry

I was given the nickname "The Orange Lady" after creating the event "The Cloved Orange Ball" in 1997. The story can be told upon request. My personal heraldry is Azure, a crescent between flaunches and on a chief argent five mullets azure with a commedia mask proper for my Augmentation of Arms.
