Doña Mariana Ruiz de Medina currently hails from the Barony of Ponte Alto. She joined the SCA in 2019. Her primary interests include 15th C Spain, Judaism, blackwork embroidery, cooking, agriculture, and archery.
Persona
Mariana's persona is 15th Century Castilian, with explorations into Judaism in Spain as well as practices in Christian Spain. Mariana's original persona was English, and known by the name Marion Compton. For more on her research, please see her website linked below.
